Premiere 25 - clip label color changes on replace edit

Apr 21, 2025 Apr 21, 2025

Premiere 25.2.1 Build 2 - when performing a clip replacement the replaced clip takes on the label color of the clip it replaced rather than keeping its own assigned label color. This used to be different and now makes it harder to keep track of whether clips have been replaced or not.

Hi @paleditor -  In the Timeline panel, click the wrench icon at the top. Make sure “Show Source Clip Name and Label” is checked.
