Premiere Crashes at the same point in timeline

I have a problem where each time I play over a section in my timeline it crashes.  There is a crossfade, a title, and a clip.  If I click on any of them, it freezes.  I can go anywhere else in my timeline and it is fine.  If I play over that section, it crashes.  I have replaced the clip with the file off of a backup in case it went corrupt.  I re-rendered the title out of after effects to see if that would fix it.  Also went back before there was a crossfade and tried to redo that, and still crashes.

What is going on here, is there a crash log somewhere that will pinpoint the corrupt or problematic file.

Also, it would be really great if Adobe tested their software before releasing it, CC 2018 has been nothing but crash after crash after crash.

That did not help, in fact that crashed my entire computer.

I was able to fix the problem by transcoding the files to ProRes as opposed to the native H264

Make new project and import old one.

See if that will help.
