Premiere Crashing at Same Place on Timeline

I'm editing a feature film and every time I scrub or play through the same scene about 45 minutes into the film Adobe Premiere crashes. I have tried several fixes - emptying the media cache, rendering the scene, rendering specific clips, exporting the scene and using that to replace the clips. I have tried importing the sequence into another project file. I have tried copying and pasting the whole sequence into another sequence. All of these result in the program crashing.

One thing worked - I copied just the problematic scene, about two minutes worth of the film, into a seperate sequence and scrubbed through. I played it through like 5 times. It didn't crash.

I've just been avoiding that part of the film on the timeline because I have other work to do. However, the time has come for me to continue editing the scene.

What's going on? I'm about to call an exorcist.

What if you nest that clip causing you issues ?

Also some effects / color correction might cause that.

I would like to add that the only effects added are that one shot is partially cropped and another clip is reversed. We shot on Alexa Mini. The file type is Quicktime .mov 1080p HD Apple ProRes 4444 XQ
