Premiere Pro 2021 Crash on Launch Solve

Launch bug with full screen on second (or third) display. 

Using Premiere Pro 15.4.1  in Mac Os 12.2.1 and M1 Max (you're probably wondering why I don't upgrade to CC 2022, see bottom for that).

To recreate:

1. In your Premiere project, go to playback settings, and enable Mercury Transmit so that you can full-screen to a second display. 
2. Use Premiere as normal with second display (work great). 
3. Quit Premiere.
4. Launch that same project in Premiere.
5. Premiere hangs and is unresponsive. 

To get that file to open again:

1. Unplug all monitors so you just have the one display. 
2. Launch Premiere
3. Project works! 
4. Plug in external monitor(s)
5. Cycle Mercury transmit off/on. 
6. Success!

I would love to use Premiere 2022 but it is completely unstable/unusable when using HEVC footage. This is true on M1 and intel (and Windows too, it seems). Rather than having to transcode every single file, I just use CC 2021. 

Anyone else experiencing the display bug?

Tried for hours to open a project I've worked on for weeks without any issues. Suddnely I wouldn't launch, and froze right after I'd selected the project, and just went idle. Figured out, that if I created a new project and then opened the old one, I could access it. However, the solve was, to unplug my secondary monitor. A very weird bug that appeared out of nowhere. Hope this helps someone out there, as frustrated as me
