Using Adobe Premier Pro 2023 and I have noticed that I can't scrub my timeline after the update. The playback window takes forever to update what I'm viewing, so I can't scrub and cut my footage my anymore. I'm not using an old computer, RTX 4080 64GB RAM, its own dedicated scratch disk, etc.
The window does eventually update, it takes about 30 seconds to update the preview. What's even more strange is that if I hit play, it will play the footage (instead of scrub) it will smoothly playback. It seems to only lock up if I scrub anywhere.
What gives with all of these issues with Adobe products lately? 2022 and 2020 had similar issues before that got "fixed". So, as of right now I can't do my work. I can't rollback either because I foolishtly updated my project to 2023 and don't have an earlier version.
Updated GPU, reset my sratch disks and cache and still nothing. Is there some sort of GPU option or something that I can change this with or am I stuck.

Sorry if this sounds like a rant, but I just can't deal with this anymore. Adobe's updates in recent years keeps breaking my workflows and what worked on my hardware before and to make matters worse, I can't lock in my software for prodcutions anymore, I'm at their application-breaking whim. I should have known better than to just update. I miss the CS days where I could purchase and use that software for years. I honestly need to find other software and workflows at this point.
