premiere pro 2023 only playback with mic disabled no input

I recently nuked a large video i was trying to upload whilst editing on my razer blade pro 17, I gave up and swapped over to my threadripper with PP 2023 I had not used the TR at all for quite a while. But i started editing all was well then suddenly it will not playback in timeline unless I go to edit/preferences/ and disable mic to no input. Then it playback fine but then i have NO MIC. cmon guys why is PP non stop never ending issues??  little help to any that can. TY

Thanks for the message. Are you still having this issue? The team will need more info from you to reproduce the bug. Can you provide the information required here? How do I write a bug report?
