premiere pro 2023 text engine missing

I have encountered a problem with Thai fonts where diacritics overlap.

Please bring back the Engine function.

The new universal text engine should handle this correctly. Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing?

Do you see the problem with Adobe Thai font? (I have that one.)

Can you post a small example that I can copy paste to test?
