Premiere Pro 2024 lags when using Teams or Zoom - OS is Sonoma 14.1.2 running on MacBook Pro M3 16GB

I'm working on a fairly basic Premiere Pro 2024 timeline using a Mac Book Pro M3.

When using Teams or Zoom at the same time the playback suddently becomes very slow, it's lagging.

Just a few weeks ago, before Christmas, I was using exactly the same set up and it worked well. I was able to send them my screen and/or video chat at the same time. Today I can't have a voice call using Teams/Zoom and playback my sequence. Is this a bug?

Many thanks.

I think you were probably lucky when it was working...  but could have to do with the order in which you launched the programs.  Are you trying to get people to actually see your playback remotely in real-time?  There are some 3rd party solutions to do this, but they aren't cheap...    The other solution is to feed your output to another computer and have the other computer see the video as a "webcam."  Was able to get this to work, but was a royal pain and undependable.   Can go into more detail on how to set this up if you want.  Also, probably a good idea to restart your computer before trying to get this to work not to be running any other programs at the same time...
