When I delete a clip and then undo, the undo takes like 2 seconds and often gives the spinning loading animation for the cursor on my mac. With each undo and redo, it seems like it takes increasing amounts of processing time.
It's almost like the app isn't caching the edit history and it's constantly writing it to a file on disk or something because I don't know what would have it be so laggy.
I tried rebooting the program several times without any use. Also, it's especially slow when using the text editor workspace, as I can't even highlight the text and ripple delete. It will only let me delete with a slight lag, leaving empty space in my timeline.
My maching is 16inch MacBook M1 Max with 32gb RAM and the application is only using up like 8 GB of RAM so it's not a memory problem.
Hi @Jackson Zheng - Thanks for submitting your bug report. We need a few more details to try to help with the issue.
Do you see any extra items in the history panel? We have seen reports of extra items that we are investigating.
Have you tried backing up your settings and then deleteing them only to see if that helps your issue?
Sorry for the frustration.

I decided to switch back to 2024 versions of both and now it works fine. But lost all my presets in the process of the downgrade.
