Highlight clip and go to lumetri colour corrector. When adjusting the Vignette 'midpoint' slider the whole picture goes black when the slider is taken full to the left. This cannot be recovered and a software reboot is required.

Hi Christopher,

Sorry about that. What footage are you testing with? I can't repro on macOS. I am on leave and do not have access to a PC. Apologies.

Community: Can anyone on PC with AMD CPUs replicate the error?

Thank You,

Kevin

I can replicate on i7.

Steps: Open Lumetri panel. Vignette is already selected. Reduce Amount to far left. I saw no change. Reduce Midpoint to far left. Screen goes black. Move midpoint back; no change. Move Amount back: no change. click "reset effect" button. Resets, but no change to display. Change workspaces; in History panel undo. Nothing changes from the all black Program Monitor.

Close and reopen PR. All is okay. Tried adjusting in Effects control. This time in Panel or Effect controls, I could not get the problem. Then I moved my cursor and All Black. Odd.

PR 22.5 Win 10 Pro. i7-11700K. RTX 3070. 64GB RAM.

I'm having the exact same issue. regardless of footage or comp, lowering the "amount" and "midpoint" crashes the renderer. i9 12900 and 3070ti.

As noted in the other thread they're working on it.

Until we get an update fixing it, use feathered masks for your vignettes.

Confirmed here also, on a PC w Ryzen CPU, 2080Ti GPU ... doesn't even need to move the midpoint down much at all, and it's in both the current shipping and public beta 22.6.

They have a fix for this in the most recent public beta, so progress is being made.
