My project has been running very slow, my temporary solution has been to insert a clip, and immediately edit and render that clip alone, if I try to render with many clips, it immediately crashes.

I wonder if it might be due to a Windows update?

Try System Restore?

Did you try a different project? Try with a new project, dump in some clips and onto the timeline and see if it will export. Also, create a new project and IMPORT into it, the problem project. Give that a try.

That sometimes happens. When possible, I'd get a new m.2 drive, the 1tb''s are pretty cheap now, and even the 2tb's are not bad at the moment. I'm sticking with 1tb for my boot drive, as I keep eliminating stuff on it, so I have 4 m.2 and an SSD running. You could get a smaller boot drive, and just use your 4tb m.2 (nice) 🙂 as a project drive, etc.

Oh, and you can then leave your 4tb as is, and boot to it again, if need be, before you eliminate the Windows folder and such.

What state were you in with the current crash. Did you do a clean install on the 2tb?

I even did a clean install of my operating system, Windows from the beginning, installed drivers again and Premiere kept crashing.

I was giving up until I remembered that years ago I had a problem with another similar software, I went into the BIOS of my computer, THE SOLUTION was to activate the XMP Profile, when I restarted with that change booooom! Rendering and Exporting completed without any errors.

I continued working on several projects and it continues to work perfectly.

Maybe someone might have a similar problem and here I come to leave my blessed solution that ended my problems in Premiere, thanks to everyone for their contributions and helpful comments.

I currently have 9 storage units but the main ones are these 2 for premiere use:

C: 2 TB Samsung 990 Pro - Operating System

E: 4 TB Samsung 990 Pro - Files and projects to work

The rest are backups and steam games and personal files

You have a very strong system, sorry you went thru that. I was going to ask you earlier if you had any overclocks on the machine, or head up displays to show fps in games, etc. I'm glad you got it...

Thank you, I have invested in this computer because it is my work tool, I have never tried to do any overclocking or anything like that, I don't want to take that risk that many say on the Internet, the only FPS counter I use is the one that comes integrated into Steam

Yes, I agree but not with an upvote. Adobe let's user use their own hardware. There was a time you had to buy the hardware from the software vendor. So, you never know what kind of hardware and what bios setting it may have. Sometimes users have to adjust, even their settings. So, cheers, yes, we can use our own hardware.
