Premiere pro cc 2019, video gets pale on import and export.

I have no filters applied, no effects. Just dragging and dropping the video and selecting match video settings (also tried match sequence settings).

 

Request for providing a solution that doesn't require updating PP to the current version.

Sorry to hear about this. We would need more info to diagnose the issue properly. Let us know the format/codec, color space & chroma subsampling for the media you are using. Also, please note that different media players can play files using different gamma standards, which might result in a slight difference in the preview. It could have something to do with the way PPro has been set to interprete color from the clips.
