Premiere Pro crashes and doesn't play sequences

Hi

I've tried to open a Premiere Pro file on my computer but, when dragging the line to start the sequence to either play or render it, neither happens and the program freezes before crashing.

I've uninstalled an installed a previous version - 15.4 - but the same thing happens...

Please help. I bought this computer for Premiere Pro and it isn't working!

I am getting the same thing. I have this computer specifically for editing and I keep getting crash reports after it freezezs and shuts down on me 😞 Wondering if it's the new version of Premiere?
