Premiere Pro Crashes When Importing .MXF files

Community Beginner ,

I'm trying to import .mxf files recorded from a Sony FS7 and every time I import one of the files, (Windows 10 OS) Premiere shows it's doing the conforming in the lower-right corner and after a few seconds, Premiere crashes. I've tried moving the files, renaming them, etc. Nothing. Every time I import one, it crashes. The .xml and .bim files are in the same folder as the .mxf files also. Any solutions?

What was your process for uploading from the cards to the computer?

Which method are you using to import the files?

Pretty much any method. Going to the project folder, selecting "import" and doing it that way or even just dragging one into the timeline. Doesn't matter.

And uploading the files ... from card to computer. Did you copy the upper folders or just the files?

Just the files. Put them all in the same folder

Have you tried the proper way:

copy entire card to hdd first and them ingest (not drag) via the Media Browser?
