Premiere Pro Dynamic Link Randomly Stops Working and Freezes PPro Application

I've tried searching for this exact issue but everything I've been able to find relates to a clip inside of PPro that is linked in AE that becomes unlinked which is not my issue.

My issue is randomy during the editing process, when I go to create a new dynamic link clip from PPro into AE PPro will just freeze, forcing me to force quit the application - typically lose progress as it's not easy to remember to hit save everytime you attempt a dynamic link - and then restart my entire PC in order for dynamic link to work again. Simply force closing PPro and then closing AE and re-opening both does not fix the issue.

I have tried disabling the "Enable Multi-Frame Rendering" setting in AE just to see if it was a fix but it is not. Does anybody have a fix for this issue?

Having to restart my PC multiple times when doing simple tasks in these programs is getting ridiculous.

Premiere Pro v22.2

After Effects v22.2.1

If for any reason you need PC specs I can post that as well but this has been happening for some years now on different PC's.

Hey Matttttttt,

My apologies for the late reply. Could you please try the new updates for Premiere and After effects and see if you’re still facing the same issues?

Regards,
Ishan
