Premiere Pro is hanging Up and Freezing

I am running Catalina and everytime I try to merge video and audio clips for syncing Premiere freezes and stops responding. Has anyone had this issue?

Hi there!

Sorry about the issue. Which version of Premiere Pro are you using? Have you tried deleting cache files and resetting preferences?
