Premiere pro keeps crashing

adobe error report pops up saying theres a problem and premiere needs to close, every time i do nearly anything. just moving something in the time line or playing a clip causes it to happen, i cant make any edits. Ive looked online and havent been able to find any solution.

did you try to reset the preferences? hold ALT or Option(MAC) when 

premiere pro is launching on the splash screen
