Premiere Pro saving after each change (not auto save)

Explorer ,
Jan 23, 2023 Jan 23, 2023

Basically the a window opens saying "saving project" without actually saving the project (the star behind the name stays) multiple times whenever I adjust one of multiple linked clips but sometimes at random.

Maybe it has something to do with using the alt + shift to select multiple individual clips from linked clips.

I disabled hotkeys used for saving, didn't even touch my keyboard and disabled the auto save feature  and of course restarted Premiere Pro and my PC. However I've had this problem on different occasions and its extremely frustrating because you can't work for 1 seconds everytime you adjust something.
