Hello.
Thank you. Here some infos:
The project: Video 4K. Lenght 4 minutes.
High resolution footage on multiple tracks.
MacBook pro M3 Max, 48 Go mémory, Sonoma 14.5
No other app running.
Premiere Pro 24.5.0 (Build 57)
The issue started as soon as I got the new MacBook (early july)
Whenever I do an action on Premiere it takes time.
Thank you for your help.
Best.

But you told us nothing about the media other than framesize.
What is the format/codec, and framerate? Created by what?

A basic requirement for editing video is knowing the media you are working with.
What camera or capture devices was used? Is it actual camera footage or screen capture from maybe OBS? What is the format .... mp4, QuickTime (ProRes), DNx, XAVC, what?
That information should be in the Media Properties panel in Premiere. Also, the free utility app MediaInfo can give the full file header data.

Hi @FrançoisGoizé,
Thanks for writing in with your issue. I suspect that the new Mac might have iCloud preferences enabled for some apps, which can slow things down. Open Photos and choose Settings > iCloud and switch those off. Quit Photos. Restart Premiere Pro and open your project. Has performance improved? Let the community know.
Thanks,
Kevin
