Premiere Pro Transitions Not Working :(

I've been trying to implement transitions that I've imported from Mixkit into my Premiere project, but the keep messing up.  For one, the blocks are showing as yellow (I don't know what this means), and the effect glitches out—usually dividing in half or qudrants as you can see in my attached video.  For reference, this is what the effect is supposed to look like: https://mixkit.co/free-premiere-pro-templates/twist-transition-203/

It seems I can resolve the issue by rendering that portion of the timeline, but when I try do so that after copy + pasting the transition over my actual video clips, it gltiches out again.  Any adivce would be appreciated!

It seems to be working fine. I downloaded it and have the project working, looks just like yours save for the 4up display. You may just have to render it. Mine has a yellow line also, but I don't need to render to have it play right. Sometimes you do. You didn't give any info on your hardware.
