Premiere Pro: UI responds lagged

Good morning,
I have the latest Version of Premiere Pro - 22.2.0
and all out of the sudden, the UI is lagging.
It worked well yesterday and all the other days, even today...

But from one moment top another ... boom ... lag!

For Example: When I switch between Media-Browser and Library this Window indeed changes.
but the tab isnt... it still signals that the media browser is selected.

Also when I click into another Panel, the blue border, that signals the active panel, is still around the rescently used panel and not the one I just clicked.

That is annoying as hell....

Does any one of you have an idea what this is is and what I could do about it?

Hi there,

We're sorry to hear about this. Have you tried resetting app preferences to isolate any preference corruption issue that might be causing the app to misbehave?
