Premiere Pro - Using RAM 100GB+ and then crashes / Mac Studio M2 Chip

New Here ,

The project has 1.2TB of video material (MXF&MOV) and several timelines, some over 1 hour long.
After opening the project, the memory/RAM continuously increases to over 100GB and then crashes (takes 10-15min).
I have deleted all plugins, cache and tried several Premiere versions. The error remains.
Obviously it is due to the Apple M2 chip, because on other Mac studios with an M1 chip the Premiere project works without problems and stays under 10GB RAM.

Has anyone had the same problem and been able to solve it?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.

You may want to try going into preferences and try changing the memory preference setting.
