Premiere pro v 22 crashing on M1 chip solved.

I went through all the threads for a solution for freezing of video playback on M1 based Macbook pro.

I had got Arri Alexa Mini footage transcoded to Apple Prores for offline edit through the DIT person.
After 2 mins of editing with these footages, Premiere pro use to freeze.

Solution:

I transcoded the prores footage to DNX LB MXF. All problem solved. No more freezes... everything working like magic as it use to be.

Preset used: DNxHR/DNxHD MXF OP1a : DNX LB 1080p 25
