Premiere project file size too large?

Hello community,

My editing team and I have been experiencing unexplainable issues with project timelines turning black then corrupting the save (see my most recent post for details).

Is it possible that a premiere file being too large can cause something like this? The project that is experiencing issues is 30 mb.

My latest project is 175mb and no issues.

Must be something else going on.

Post comp spec. OS and Premiere version/build and media used.
