Does anyone know why the audio in Premiere doesn't work with the remote virtual machines of Paperspace? I'm having this problem in which the Razer Surround Audio Controler (default on Paperspace machines) doesn't work on Premiere, so I tried downloading VB-Audio Virtual Cable (recommended by Parsec) and it still doesn't work.
I get this message "MME device internal error".
So the timeline in Premiere is muted although the audio works fine in the rest of the operational system.
Any ideas to fix this?

An error like that means the Operating System is passing an error up to Premiere, so that will need to be fixed. First thing you should try is simply rebooting the computer, as that will reset some parts of the audio settings.
Check that under "Preferences>Playback>Primary Audio Device..." dropdown is set to the correct device as that overrides the Audio Hardware Settings dialog.
If that doesn't help, try altering the sample rate of the virtual device in the OS settings.
