Why does Premiere think a project I JUST SAVED was created in a "previous version" and needs to convert it to load?
More consicely, how do I remove this bizarre feature?

@Dean W. That's strange. So you're using the Premiere Pro 2024, you save a project, and then when you open it in that same version you get this message?

Would you be willing to send me an example project file to take a look at?

Dean,

Take @mattchristensen up on his offer.

This is odd, because PR's decision is a relatively simple one: if you are running PR 24.0.3 (or any PR 24), and the project file shows a project file version less than 42 (the new project file version for PR 24), it shows the convert project dialogue.

The only way to get a project file less than 42 is to save in PR 23 or lower.
