Hello

My Sony AVCHD footage loads video in the timeline. But I'm finding that the audio will load only halfway. I'll wait a half day to let it load longer & nothing.

and yes I check the raw footage & the audio is there throughout all the raw footage.

Can someone please give some insight?

When importing footage into Premiere make sure it's fully loaded conformed or whatever before doing anything.

Some lingo: its not raw footage that is something else. Its source footage or original footage.

The loading bar at the bottom right corner was gone & the thumbnails in the project panel were showing so it seems loaded. I let it sit for a whole half day to load.

It's hard to know if this is a Premiere Pro side issue or an AVCHD source side issue.

Have you tried viewing the file in After Effects?  If that loads as expected, you can transcode it to ProRes 422 LT from there for editing in Premiere Pro.
