Premiere Version 2024 is Extremely Unstable with Mac Mini m2 Pro

I've been cutting with 2023 and no issues. Thought I would chance the update for a new project and had to revert back to 2023....and partially rebuild the project due to lackluster back compatability.

Here's what I have going on:

8TB of 4k footage imported
Timeline is 3 min. (!)
Minimal effects (basic color correction)
Proxies are 1920x1080 Pro Rez 422 medium quality
(2) Monitors
Media Cache on seprate drive from Project Files
Drives are external RAIDs, USB-C with speeds roughly 340/MB both ways.
Mac Mini M2 Pro with 16GB of RAM
Running Ventura 13.5.2

Any suggestions on how to not want to toss a brick through one of the monitors due to laggy performance? And freezing when trying to export XML specifically with 2024?

2024 just freezes. on windows 10 with 96 ram, project launches and there's nothing that works. the project worked 2 days ago and now it just sits there frozen. relatively small project with three sequences and about 10 video clips in the project.

I have been having a similar issue. I have been freezing like crazy today with 5 sources at 1080p 60fps with 64gigs of ram, and the latest graphics cards from AMD. Its really unfortunate as I upgraded from 2023 and thought this would be more stable. Looks like I was wrong this time. I hope there are some updates that will bring stability.
