Premiere wont stop crashing. Its happening at least once an hour

System Specs

MAC Studio 2022 M1 Ultra Chip

64 GB Mem

20 core

macOS Monteray 12.6

Premiere Version 22.6.2

- I have tried re installing the software

- I have cleared the cache

- Using proxies doesn't help

- All other software like Unity run great

- It happens on 1080p pro ress projects as well as 6k raw

- 52 GB RAM is allocated to Premiere

This is actually ruining my worklife so I am open to any solutions. I was getting better performance out of my 2015 Imac.

I have a solution that seems to be working for now. Havent had a crash since(going 6 hours now).

I just closed the lumetri scopes panel. Thats it. It was crashing every 45 minutess because of a scopes panel.

Which sucks as I love to keep a constant eye on the scopes while I am editing.

Will update if this stops working.

Hi there!

Sorry about the crash. What's the source of the media files? Are you getting any error codes or messages when it crashes?

Could you check if crash reports are saved? https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro-discussions/faq-where-do-i-find-premiere-pro-crash-logs-...

Let us know.

Thanks,

Kartika

Hello,

This particular project I am working on currently is on a USB 3 Seagate external drive. But this problem also happens on my Lacie USBC drives.

The link you sent me to find my crash logs is not accurate to my folder structure. I have attached a screenshot of what I mean. I have also attached what I think is the crash log but it might not be. Apologies if it is wrong,
