Hey,

After a few recommendations from my friend, I downloaded the new Premiere 2018 (trial version) and it seems to be bugged or something.

The preview screen keeps scaling back and forth from "Fit" to "200%" and just doesn't wont to stay on 1 of the sizes.

Also, even if I change the screen size to 10%, it will bounce back to 200% and then will again bounce back and forth to "Fit" and again to 200% ( and keep bouncing).

I tried to reinstall it several times (also restarting my computer) but it didn't help.

I'm working on:

Lenovo Y70

Windows 10

4K screen

NVIDIA 860M 4G

Any thoughts?

Hi Edobe 4383,

Sorry for the trouble. It seems like a strange issue. Reset the Preferences & check the issue.

Here are the steps: FAQ: How to reset preferences in Premiere Pro?

Let us know the status.

Thanks,

Vidya

This is happening to me as well. I'm using the latest 2021 version of premiere. When I hit "spacebar" to preview, the preview jumps between Fit and 100% preview.
