Merci d'avance,

Matching proxy color space to originals is a pain. They have that function in the public beta, which just 'upped' to the 2023 version builds, so ... you can't use it with 2022 projects.

This can also be a painful thing in Resolve. Sigh.

If the clip is say HLG for color space, like a lot of newer iPhones default to, then used in a Rec.709 timeline, you need to override that HLG color space to transform it to Rec.709.

Which is done by going to the clips in the Project panel, right-clicking/Modify/Intepret Footage, set Override value to Rec.709.

But if you make proxies, the proxies will still be in HLG color space, which is HDR, and will be "blown out" way too light on an SDR/Rec.709 timeline.

They have a fix for that in the public beta but not released into the 'shipping' version yet.
