Community Beginner ,

I have follow the procedure to import from Premier Elements 2019 projets in Premier Pro, (https://helpx.adobe.com/ca/premiere-pro/using/importing-sequences-clip-lists-libraries.html ) but I recieve everytime notifications that show some video features missing (transitions, filter, titles, etc), and when I open the projects converted, the text are also missing as is not supported!. Is there a fix for this kind of problems, as we need to convert many projects from Premeier Element 2019 and we have no time re-built all the missing part.

You may need to use an older version of Premiere Pro to use those Premiere Elements project files.

1. you can install the latest and 1 version prior versions using the cc desktop app. you must have a subscription because previous versions are not available with trials. other versions are revealed after clicking file preferences>apps>tick show older apps (at panel bottom).

2. for versions cc 2019 and older, use prodesigntools.com*.

3. for versions newer than cc 2019 but older than one previous version, contact adobe support for links**.

---------------------------------------------------------------
* most (but not all) adobe download links are available from prodesigntools.com. https://prodesigntools.com/adobe-direct-download-links.html

follow the directions (esp, step 1)

save the install file. it may not remain online.

thank jim @ prodesigntools.com

** this support is currently not available. ie, there's a significant gap (between 2019 and last year) in the available previous versions.

opposition to this decision (to limit available previous versions) has been conveyed to adobe officials who are therefore aware of the problems caused by this policy. however, unless/until changes are made, nothing can be done to legally access these files.

@kglad : I should understand that this is an non official procedure from Adobe.

By the other side, with the gap you mention, if my projets came from Premier Element 2019 it means that the conversion wont probably won't work?

i'm not a premiere pro nor a premiere elements expert.  i do not know what a conversion will accomplish.

i do know how to install previous adobe cc (eg, premiere pro) versions, and that is official. ie, adobe and prodesigntools.com work together.  the links at prodesigntools.com use adobe servers to download the links files so the files are really coming directly from adobe.com

@Ann Bens  @kglad : At your advise as expert, to conserve the projets, is it better to keep them in the same software, instead of migrate them to Premier Pro?. Do you think the projets would open correctly in latest version of Premier Element 2023?

Adobe pulled several effects from 2023.

Best is to finish project in E 2019 and start fresh in E 2023 or Pro.

My concerning is about some old videos we already made in Element 2019 in the past years. As in our company IT cut the acces to E2019, they pushing us to use Premier Pro. But as sometimes we need to made some updates in old projets, I'm analysing all the trouble it could take us to pass from one software to another, and if there are any workaround.

If you need to make some updates stick to 2019. Try and convince your IT that if they want to use old projects they need to give you access to old software.

You won't get a complete timeline with all the effects and working titles in Pro whatever version you are using.

Elements 2023 will give trouble too. They pulled as said before a lot of effects including audio. New Blue has been dropped entirely.

Alternative is to redo everything in Pro with the available effects and Ess. Graphics Panel. You will still have the clips in the timeline to work with.

Of course, you are going to miss some effects.

Just hit the OK button for Convert Project.

Premiere pro does not have all the effects Elements uses (NewBlue?)

Also, Elements has a total different Title generator as Pro. Pro cannot convert this.

No need to install an older version.
