problem with Adobe Premier

Have a new HD camera VATTO 108OP started new project transfering videos from files or SD card once the are downloaded I get a black screen Videos play but all I get is a black screen.  I tried some other videos from my old HD camera and had no problem  PLEASE ADVISE
