Hi I've only just started using Adobe Premier. I have a problem when importing some photos and images onto my timeline - they are not being imported as their original or full size! Can anyone tell me how I can adjust or fix this! Or why this is happening? I've tried to adjust it myself, using the different controls like; fit/50% 75%, etc but Im not getting anywhere. I can't really make any further progress until I get help with this! many thanks, Owen
Premiere Pro might be resizing the images in the timeline if the preferences setting > media > Default Media Scaling is set to "Scale to frame size" or "Set to frame size" set it none and place the images again in the timeline. Refer the screenshot -
You can also right-click on the image in the timeline and uncheck the option of "Scale to frame size" or "Set to frame size" and then go to effects control panel to set the scale to 100%.

Hi Owen,
So just to clarify, you are wanting to import the images in their full size, and then scale them down to the timeline?
It will be helpful if you can tell us what size the images are, in pixels, and the size of the timeline you are working on.
