Hi Robert272941598d44!
Sorry about the trouble. Have you tried deleting cache files and resetting preferences?
Let us know how it goes.
Thanks,

If the suggestions by Kartika Rawat don't work, try updating or rolling back your graphics driver directly from the video card manufacturer’s site. If NVIDIA, do a clean installation of the latest Studio Driver (NOT the Game Driver).
make sure to use a Studio Driver from NVIDIA (NOT the Game Driver), but not the latest version - it has issues with Premiere Pro.
If that doesn't work, try creating a new project and import the old one into it.

Hello. I'm back with an update on my situation. I tried all the options (including those recommended here on the topic), but it has the same dealy when I switch between windows. I mention that I have reinstalled the driver from Nvidia cleanly. I have all the updates up to date on all components. I haven't had this problem in the 3 years since I've been using Premier. I have a system with I7 10700, 32GB RAM, RTX3070.

Also, try Preferences > Audio Hardware and set Input to None.

I had this problem with the penultimate driver from the video card, I have it now with the last driver. The setting you told me about for the audio was already set as you told me. I think this problem is from Adobe. Until a month ago, I had absolutely no problem with the Premier, but now this delay annoys me terribly.
