problems with time remapping

hi, so I am having a problem, that when I put the time remapping on any clip, no other effects or adjustments like opacity or zoom work. I have to nest the clip to work, can anyone help me?

Hi there,

Sorry to hear about this. Which version of  Premiere Pro are you using? Are you experiencing this issue with any specific sequence or all of them? Also, are you getting any error codes/messages while making opacity/scale changes to a time remapped clip?

Time Remapping seldom works correct with other effects, hence the nesting.

Adding to what Peru & Ann said. Time remapping with other effects only works if the effects are not keyframed. Keyframing an effect on a time remapped clip can cause such issues. If you need to keyframe other effects, nesting the time remapped clip first can help. Let us know if you are experiencing issues with non-keyframed effects.
