Program crashes, timeline empty.

i am a video editor 

ive been working on a project for a client every day for hours and now i was just checking and finishing and even tho i have the work saved but it crashed like any normal crash (not responding freeze and then close program)  and when i re entered every thing is there but the timeline is empty !!!!!!!!!! please help

in the list view of your source see if there is a sequence and open it ... might have your timeline on it.

otherwise slog through what ann said I guess.

manually save projects and 'save as' ( new filename number ) as you work. all editors have to do that on all programs.

for example go from:

cat video 1

save after doing stuff and save as

cat video 2

etc.
