program monitor green

after export to MP3, sequence does not appear in program monitor, monitor is green....   click on monitor sequence displays, click on sequence monitor goes green...

I have used Premiere Pro for years without any problems... this occurred after an export to MP3

after selecting video on sequence/timeline program monitor goes to green....  click on program monitor the video is displayed until I click on the timeline...  have opened other projects with the same result...

Confirmed that mercury playback is on and applied driver update....  no change....
