Project Manager 25.1 crashing

Trying to export a project manager (collect and copy files) but it is crashing. I am on the newest osx operating system and Premiere 25.1

This is my first project on 25.1, btw. Been holding off on updating until now.

But the Project Manager crashes a few moments after I begin. The original project is on my G-Studio SSD and is being transferred to my second G-Studio SSD.

Oddly, my workaround is that I have Plumepack installed and it IS working.

Have other folks reported this?

Hi @Ronnie Ron-Ron ,

Welcome to the Premiere Pro forums! We are glad to see you here.

Some users have found if they untick the box (Include preview files) then the project manager worked.  Give that a try and let us know.

@Ronnie Ron-Ron,

Since you don't have any responses, I'll add my two cents.

I am Win 10 on PR 25.0.0. I'm on a project and won't upgrade to 25.1 yet. I don't recall if I tested this on Beta 25.2.0.

I successfully used Project Manager to copy and collect a project with 600 GB of data and multiple folders. Project manager puts all the media in one folder. I was copying from an external USB HDD (WD My Passport) to an internal SSD.

I later tested the free version of PlumePack on a small test project, and it retained the folder structure from the project.

I have had many problems with Project Manager over the years, and mostly gave up trying to use it for archiving. When it works, it just lacks the organization I want and doesn't reduce the files. The paid version of PlumePack does transcoding, but I have not tested it and don't know what method they are using.
