Project won't render audio then won't save

Hi,

I can't render the audio in my timeline. The render window pops up and gets to 1.6% everytime and freezes. Then the project won't save. I can still work, but who wants to keep working on something that won't save! I inherited the project in 24.0.3.

There are a variety of frame rates etc. Not your most professionally filmed job.

I suppose I just won't render the audio? Not sure the long term problems with this.

Can anyone advise?

Make new project and import old one.

See how that goes.

Not sure I know how to do that. Here's what I'd do.

New Project - Open old one - Drag and drop everything across - Save

Is that right?
