proxy dont work

proxies do not work. i tried almost everything, nothing changes. h264 lwo resolution proxy, from a 1080 p video. its attached to the media. im sure. i toggle the proxy, but image wont change. dont know what to do. pr version 24.0. i yesterday i tried in pr v25.0. everything fine working. but in pr 24.0, proxies dont work. tried different formats and everything. please help. tks.

You can verify the proxy by right-clicking the clip in the Project panel and selecting Media File Properties. This should display the paths for both the original media and the proxy.

For a quick visual indication, it also helps to add a watermark to the proxy. More on that here: Watermark Premiere Pro Proxy Files
