Please see this screenshot of the timeline :
In the timeline I have used the function "cutter" in order to cut (in red color).
Now, if I want to remove this "cutter"mark in the timeline, I select the cutter mark in the timeline, so it becomes red, but if I use the delete key, nothing happens. So I am unable to remove the cutter mark in the timeline.
How to remove it ?

This might be what you are looking for. Right click on the edit and select Join Through Edit.

You are not seeing the Razor tool or so called cutter mark, but rather the Trim tool in the timeline.
Just click somewhere in the timeline.
