The new timeline colors are really nice for some, that's fine.
But the option for "Classic" does NOT restore "Classic" lable colors on the timeline!
On my PC, set to "Classic", both the video and audio tracks are a light lavender-ish color, NOT the medium blue video and green audio as before.
I want to be able to REALLY have the old look, and that is NOT currently possible!
Next beef ...
There is no option for having audio and video tracks separate colors!
This is to me totally absurd.

@R Neil Haugen I think one of your system has "Audio Waveforms Use Label Color" turned on. You can find this in the Timeline panel menu. Turning that off basically makes audio clips always have a green color, which sounds like what you are expecting?

Ahhh ... the unknown interactions things!
Okay, I'll check that out.

That does separate things. Thanks for pointing that out, I hadn't even noticed that setting was there! Never used it before.
Still ... the colors are not quite the same, are they? I find the new sequence "Classic" sort of a ... dusty blue? Perhaps a less "pure" saturation. And the green of the waveform is brighter and towards annoying in flourescence.
I modified the "Caribbean" blue to a better hue, but ... no clue how to control brightness of the waveform yellow-green flourescence ...
