"Lücken schließen"- funktioniert nicht

Hallo, 

ich möchte bei meinen Projekten die Funktion "Lücke schließen" benutzen, aber die Felder sind immer ausgegraut und mit der "Löschen"-Taste kann ich auch nichts machen. Kann mir jemand helfen?

Es dauert viel zulange alles einzelnd auszuwählen und an den Platz zu schieben und dann sind dennoch öfters kleine Lücken, wo das Bild kurz schwarz wird.
