Hi! Does the subsequence work like groups in Photoshop, in that it can have its own blending mode? Nested sequences don't give you access to the parts and when they do, I can't see the whole end result. Just what the nested part does. Groups do nothing for me in PPro.

Groups just make the selection group of selected clips...so if you select 4 clips in the timeline and group it..next time if you select any of the 4 clips you grouped then It will select all the 4 clips in the sequence.

For the difference in the Subsequnce and nested sequence see the following post - https://community.adobe.com/t5/premiere-pro/difference-between-subsequence-and-nested-sequence/m-p/7...

Nested sequences don't give you access to the parts and when they do - if you want to change the blending mode of the nested sequence then select the nested sequence (do not double click) then go to the effects control and you will be able to change the motion effects and opcaity effects including the blending.
