Video footage imports without audio

Any update on this problem? I have the same problem, shot on Handycam, MOV files video/audio are in but there's no waveform on a couple of the clips. If there is any update on this problem it would help.

Hey Reid,

I heard you are having trouble with a video file and Premiere Pro. This is a pretty old thread, but I may be able to help you. Can you upload a sample file to Google Drive or Dropbox? Thank you for getting back to me in regards, The video file is losing its
audio tracks does not show waveform is completely mute. This has happened
with a couple of my projects now. I'm shooting just on a Handycam (MOV.) as
mentioned in the thread by the other person who was having the same issue.
Also, note I have gotten multiple errors notifications coming up in the
corners when importing footage to the timeline.

Are you waiting long enough for the audio to conform?

I had that issue when I tried to use the clips before they were fully conformed at import.

Yes, I had also thought that may be the case but other clips that had the
audio before in projects I was editing were working fine and have now
disappeared sound/waveform on certain clips.
