Hi Experts,

I'm wondering if there is a way for me to Render and Replace some of my AE clips that I've linked in my Premiere project, but just in the Alpha + RBG channel.

This issue is that currently, the clips show black until the elements in the comp scale up to the full resolution. I need the background of the clips transparent or, as a last resort, white.

Any info or other workaround would be helpful!

When you select Render and Replace, you get a dialog box. Choose Quicktime, and below that, I usually choose "Match Source - Apple ProRes 4444" which gives me a rendered file with transparency (I just tested this to confirm on my system). Or you can create your own preset with alpha channel and import it in.
