I have a very high end gaming laptop that would regularly export videos in about the same amount of time that the length of the video would be - depending on FX - i.e. a 60 second video would take about 60 seconds to render.
I updated to 2024 a week ago for both premiere and AE and render times have broken my business in a pretty bad way. 60 second videos now take around 10 minutes and anything over 5 minutes won't even finish rendering in Premiere or AE. I have literally left renders of 20 minute videos overnight for hours and wake up to find they haven't moved at all.
I have been a paying customer for nearly a decade. How can you screw up an update so bad?
I use the adobe suite for my business and am massively rethinking it. These render speeds make it impossible to run my company.
HI @AlwaysArob - What type of media are you working with? Can you make sure that you have hardware acceleration turned on in your preferences? Are you using the studio driver for your graphics card, since you updated to the latest premiere that may have to be updated as well. We just released version 25 can you try it out and let us know if that helps your issue?
