I thought you weren't using the GPU while rendering.

The GPU is definitely used in many aspects of Premiere Pro. It plays a key role in rendering, effects processing, decoding certain formats, and accelerating playback. While not every task uses the GPU, it’s an important part of the overall performance pipeline.
