Rendering issues since latest update (premiere 24.0.3) on mac m1

accelerated effects are not rendering on playback since the latest update. 
the mercury gpu accelerator is already on and i cant change its status. 
i've already cleared all my caches as well. 

i have attached prints of the issue.

The Mercury Metal GPU renderer is enabled in your screen shot. It is the only option for Apple Silicon machines so the selection box is greyed out.


What effects are showing that warning?

From what I can see, the issue occurs with the combination of the "VR Color Gradients" effect and the "Turbulent Displace" effect. 

 

Due to a limitation with the "VR Color Graident" effect, it needs to come after the "Turbulent Displace" effect (e.g. the "Turbulent Displace" has to be applied first, regardless of effect layers):

My recommendation would be to move the "VR Color Graident" to be applied on the text sequence. You may have to make two separate text sequences if you want the color only applied to one.
